Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs for industrial AC-DC power supplies help you design reliable systems with high full-load efficiency, low total harmonic distortion (THD) and standby power.

Design requirements

Modern industrial AC-DC designs often require:

  • Higher efficiency through soft-switching techniques and fast-switching GaN devices.
  • Lower THD over wide load conditions using power factor correction.
  • Lower standby power to meet ENERGY STAR® and DOE standards.
  • Active o-ring systems for parallel operation and redundancy.
