Off-highway vehicles electric drive
Overview
Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you innovate and differentiate your off-highway vehicles electric drive systems. This system is used to either generate a traction drive or implement a hydraulic/pneumatic actuator system used in equipment for agriculture, construction, material handling and forklifts, to name a few.
Design requirements
Off-highway vehicles electric drives often require:
- High efficiency and performance of the motor, pump, solenoids or valve.
- Monitoring and protection to ensure the battery is meeting specifications.
- Predefined communication paths which can be either standardized protocols or derived standards of the protocol.
