Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create high performance optical, magnetic and inductive position sensors for motor control in robots. This requires a compact size that can operate over the extended industrial temperature range and offer high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity interfaces for highly reliable position sensing.

Design requirements

  • Reliable industrial interfaces with high EMC immunity and low external machine interface (EMI) per IEC 61800-3.
  • High efficiency, low-noise power management solutions with small form factor.
  • High-resolution analog front end with high accuracy over a wide temperature range.
  • Small footprint, low-power semiconductor solutions for compact encoder size.
