ADTEC-3P-EBIKE
Overview
AD-TEC is a German deep-tech sensor company that develops contactless, magneto mechanical torque and cadence sensing solutions for eBike and pedal-assist systems, leveraging TI's DRV425 fluxgate magnetometer and a complete TI silicon stack. The AD-TEC eBike sensor is a permanently magnetized sensor shaft that measures the resulting magneto mechanical field distortion to determine pedal torque without strain gauges, slip rings or adhesives. Integrated cadence sensing through TI's TMAG5110 Hall-effect IC provides a complete pedal-assist input signal in a single, compact unit. The solution covers torque ranges up to 150Nm with a maximum of 47kHz analog signal bandwidth and interfaces directly with TI's MSPM0 microcontroller for signal processing and SPI or UART output to the motor controller. Alternative interface configurations are available on request.
