Overview

Welcome to the quickstart design tool for the LM65680, LM65680-Q1, LM65660, LM65660-Q1, LM65640, and LM65640-Q1 buck converter family, which is intended for high-efficiency and high-density applications. This standalone tool assists the power supply engineer with the design of a DC/DC buck regulator in a single-phase or two-phase configuration. As such, the user can expeditiously arrive at an optimized design to meet the application requirements.
Features
  • Configure the converter for single-phase or two-phase applications
  • Determine the buck inductance and input and output capacitances
  • Select components for output voltage setpoint, input voltage UVLO, switching frequency and EMI mitigation
  • Optimize compensation component values for loop stability using crossover frequency as a performance metric
  • Inspect regulator efficiency, solution size and component power dissipations with ambient temperature as a parameter
  • Review auto-generated schematic and BOM list
