Overview

The LM65680-Q1 evaluation module (EVM) is a synchronous buck DC/DC regulator that employs synchronous rectification to achieve high conversion efficiency in a small footprint. The EVM operates over a wide input voltage range of 6V to 70V, which offers outsized voltage rating and operating margin to withstand supply-rail voltage transients while providing a regulated output of 5V. The output voltage has better than 1% setpoint accuracy and is adjusted by modifying the feedback resistor values, permitting the user to customize the output voltage as needed.

Features
  • Wide input voltage operating range of 6V to 70V
  • 5V output voltage with 1% setpoint accuracy
  • Rated for 8A of load current
  • Low minimum on time (40ns maximum)
  • Optional dual-random spread spectum and slew-rate control for EMI mitigation
  • Fully assembled and tested PCB layout with small footprint
