TI's Evaluation Module LM74810EVM helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the LM7481-Q1 ideal diode controllers (LM74810QDRR) in reverse battery protection applications. This evaluation module demonstrates LM7481-Q1 Ideal Diode controller's capability to provide reverse battery protection for higher power (>100W) automotive ECU designs. The device controls two back-back N-channel power MOSFETs with ideal diode MOSFET connected first followed by second MOSFET for switched output and power path cut-off.
