Description
The automotive 1MP camera module reference design uses a CMOS imager to provide multiple uncompressed video formats over FPD-Link III. Supported video formats are 8- and 10-bit YUV422. TIs FPD-Link III SerDes technology enables the transmission of video data, bidirectional control signals and power all over a single coax cable. With an input voltage range of 4-36V, this design is "short to battery" protected and can be used for advanced driver assist and infotainment systems such as surround view systems, rear view cameras, driver monitoring, smart mirror and as a replacement for analog or Ethernet cameras.
