Key Document
Description
The TIDA-010076 shows the transfer of 220-W power and 100-Mbit/s data over SPE. Communication systems in daisy-chain topology need significantly less hardware and wiring than conventional systems in star-topology. When combined with single-pair Ethernet (SPE, 100BASE-T1) and power over data line, the design gets simplified with fewer wires. Power and data travel over only two wires from node to node.
Features
- SPE with 100 Mbit/s
- One twisted pair for power and communication
- Daisy-chaining of nodes
- Protected against mis-wiring and surge
- Engineered or dynamic link power
- Tested for operating with the 66AK2Gx industrial communications engine
