Description

This reference design provides the drive and control circuits for motor-driven applications such as automotive power seats, using both bi-directional and unidirectional motor drives. It demonstrates how to drive brushed DC motors with a small board footprint, a high degree of robustness and full diagnostic features. The design illustrates solutions for adding motor-driven comfort and convenience options, as well as replacing relay-based circuits with smarter full-featured devices.

  • Unidirectional drive for lumbar pump and valve
  • Multiplexed current sense signals from all motors
