Description
This TI Verified Reference Design implements a combined voltage and current output terminal for analog outputs in industrial applications. The DAC8760 combined with the OPA192 create a combined voltage and current output that allows for a single two-terminal output connector for both the voltage and current outputs. The design features <0.1% total unadjusted error (TUE) for precision applications. The design is galvanically isolated from the backplane/host controller using the ISO7641FC digital isolator.
Features
- Single Terminal, Standard Voltage or Current Output for a Universal Analog Output Module
- 16-bit Resolution
- <0.1% TUE (%FSR) 0 - 24 mA Current Output Precision
- <0.1% TUE (%FSR) ±10 V Voltage Output Precision
- 4kV Digital Galvanic Isolation using ISO7641FC
