The TP6594EVM boards can be used to demo, debug, test, and configure one or more TPS6594x power management ICs. The device installed by default varies by board with details outlined in the User’s Guide. The primary difference between the boards is the phase configuration setup of the quad-phase bucks (BUCK1-BUCK4) which can be combined in 5 different combinations (1+1+1+1, 2+1+1, 3+1, 4, or 2+2). The board supports stacking with other TPS6594EVMs to test multi-PMIC operation. The board can be modified to support any spin of TPS6593, TPS6593-Q1, TPS6594, TPS6594-Q1.
- Input voltage range from 3 V to 5.5 V
- Onboard MSP432 to communicate with PMIC using GUI + provided USB cable
- Each EVM orderable has a different default configuration; the boards can be reworked to support any other TPS6593 or TPS6594 phase configurations
- Boards can be stacked to support multi-PMIC operation testing
