In applications where ambient temperature (TA) constantly stays above 70°C, the product life time might degrade. MLCC capacitor reliability and lifetime is depending on temperature and applied voltage conditions. At higher temperatures, MLCC capacitors are subject to stronger stress. The most critical parameter is the Insulation Resistance (IR) resulting in leakage current.
