Displacement Transmitter (Angular, Linear & Axial)

Displacement Transmitter (Angular, Linear & Axial)

Description

Texas Instruments solutions for displacement transmitters incorporate three subsystems; the input subsystem converts the sensor (magnetic, inductive, capacitive, LVDT, ultrasonic, optical) displacement measurement into a digital signal, the signal conditioning subsystem performs various mathematical operations to produce the digital representation of the distance measurement. The output subsystem converts the digital signal to a robust interface/fieldbus (such as IO-Link, binary outputs, …) to the central unit (PLC, DCS, PAC). On top generic aspects as isolation and protection (ESD: IEC61000-4-2, EFT (Burst): IEC61000-4-4, Surge: IEC61000-4-5) are considered.
