This SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 LaunchPad and Audio BoosterPack design brings Wi-Fi audio streaming capability to new applications as well as existing ones such as HD digital speakers. It enables the capture, streaming and playback of audio from a digital microphone or a stereo/mono audio jack to another Wi-Fi enabled device. The received Wi-Fi audio can be transferred to a stereo or a digital speaker via the onboard stereo audio jack or terminal blocks.
TLV320AIC3254 included in design, a very low power stereo audio codec with miniDSP and power TuneTM technology, connected to CC3200 via I2S
Design also uses TPA2012D2, an Onboard 2.1 W/CH, stereo, filters free, class-D audio power amplifiers to drive audio output to various interfaces
Two operating modes: (1) Capture audio via microphone or Stereo/Mono jack and stream over Wi-Fi, (2) Playback Wi-Fi audio stereo or a digital speaker via the onboard stereo audio jack or terminal blocks
Audio demo application provided requires two C3200-LAUNCHXL + CC3200AUDBOOST setups, in station mode and provides unicast streaming of a PCM audio at 16 kHz, 16 bit samples over Wi-Fi to the second LaunchPad
Design offers a fully tested reference design system which includes, the board design files, board user guide, demo software, demo user guide
Texas Instruments and Accelerated Designs, Inc. have collaborated together to provide TI customers with schematic symbols and PCB layout footprints for TI products.

Texas Instruments and Accelerated Designs, Inc. have collaborated together to provide TI customers with schematic symbols and PCB layout footprints for TI products.
Both PCB footprints and schematic symbols are available for download in a vendor neutral format, which can then be exported to the leading EDA CAD/CAE design tools using the Ultra Librarian Reader. The reader is available as a (free download.).
The UL Reader is a subset of the Ultra Librarian toolset that can generate, import, and export components and their attributes in virtually any EDA CAD/CAE format.
