Overview

A system example to show how to build a Sub-1 GHz node by integrating a TM4C123x MCU and a SimpleLink™ CC1310 ultra-low-power wireless MCU. It demostatrates the capability of remotely controlling MCU operation via the web.

Features
  • TM4C123 MCU with SimpleLink CC1310 wireless MCU configured as Slave Sub-1 GHz IoT node
  • TM4C1294 MCU with SimpleLink CC1310 wireless MCU configured as a Master Sub-1 GHz device for demonstration
  • Simple UART-based interface is between the TM4C MCU and SimpleLink CC1310 wireless MCU
  • AES-CCM-based encryption and authentication ensures secure data communication between IoT node and the Master
  • The LWIP-based web server runs on the Master side TM4C1294 MCU that helps control the Slave Sub-1 GHz IoT node operation from a web browser
  • TI-RTOS is used for task scheduling and peripheral access
