Kits and evaluation modules

CC1350 LaunchPad Evaluation Module

The kit combines Sub-1 GHz with a Bluetooth® low energy radio for easy mobile phone integration with long-range connectivity including a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor. CC1350 device is a wireless MCU targeting low power, long range wireless applications with Bluetooth low energy implementations.

CC1310 LaunchPad Evaluation Module

The first LaunchPad kit with a Sub-1 GHz radio, which offers long-range connectivity, combined with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor on a single chip. The CC1310 device is a wireless MCU targeting low-power, long-range wireless applications.

 

CC110L RF LaunchPad BoosterPack

Low-power wireless transceiver extension kit for use with the MSP-EXP430G2. Based on TI’s CC110L, the onboard radio module with antenna operates in the European 868-870MHz and US 902-928MHz ISM bands. Software demonstrates example sensor network and work status reporting.

CC1111 USB Evaluation Module

The CC1111 USB dongle makes it easy to have a direct connection between a PC and a sub-1 GHz network based on compatible radios, like the CC1101, CC1120, CC1110, and CC430. The dongle is a complete reference design demonstrating how to use the USB and RF interfaces on the CC1111 system-on-chip.

Sub-1 GHz Performance Line Development Kit

The development kit provides a complete hardware performance testing and software development platform for Sub-1 GHz performance line devices. A pre-programmed packet error rate test included. RF range and robustness can be tested with different RF settings, and easily measure power consumption.

CC1125 Development Kit

The development kit provides a complete hardware performance testing and software development platform for Sub-1 GHz performance line devices and CC1125 specifically.

Sub-1 GHz CC1200 Development Kit

The development kit provides a complete platform for hardware performance testing and software development for TI’s sub-1 GHz CC1200 device. Pre-programmed with a packet error rate test for out-of-the-box evaluation of the device RF performance. 

Software

TI 15.4 Stack Software Development Kit (SDK)

15.4-Stack is an 802.15.4e/g standard based Star network solution for Sub-1 GHz applications. The software runs on the CC1310 wireless MCU. Offering several key benefits including longer range in FCC band and better protection against in-band interference by implementing frequency hopping.

SimpliciTI™ Network Protocol

SimpliciTI is a simple low-power RF network protocol aimed at small RF networks. Designed for easy implementation and deployment out-of-the-box on several TI RF platforms such as the MSP430 family of low-power MCUs and the CC1XXX/CC25XX/CC430 transceivers and SoCs.

Wireless M-Bus Protocol Software

The Wireless MBUS standard (EN 13757-4:2005) specifies communications between water, gas, heat, and electric meters and is becoming widely accepted in Europe for smart metering or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) applications. Wireless MBUS is targeted to operate in the 868 MHz band.

Development tools

SmartRF™ Studio

SmartRF™ Studio is a Windows application that can be used to evaluate and configure most TI wireless connectivity devices. The application helps designers of RF systems easily evaluate the RF-ICs at an early stage in the design process.

SmartRF™ Flash Programmer

The SmartRF™ Flash Programmer can be used to program the flash memory many SimpleLink™ wireless networking solutions devices and for upgrading the firmware and bootloader on the related evaluation boards and debugger (SmartRF Evaluation Boards, CC Debugger, etc.).

Debugger and Programmer for SimpleLink™ Solutions

A small programmer and debugger for the SimpleLink wireless networking solutions. Can be used with IAR Embedded Workbench for 8051 (version 7.51A or later) for debugging and SmartRF Flash Programmer for Flash programming. Can also be used for controlling selected devices from SmartRF Studio.
