Calibration

The ADS117L11 provides the ability to calibrate offset and gain errors by user-programmable offset and gain correction registers. As shown in Figure 8-28, the 24-bit offset correction value is subtracted from the conversion data before being multiplied by the 24-bit gain correction value. Final output data are rounded to 16-bit resolution and clipped to +FS and –FS code values after the calibration operation.
