Feature Description

The CDx4HCx405x line of multiplexers and demultiplexers can accept a wide range of analog signal levels from –5 to +5V. They have low ON resistance, typically 70Ω for VCC – VEE = 4.5V and 40Ω for VC – VEE = 4.5V, which allows for very little signal loss through the switch.

Binary address decoding on chip makes channel selection easy. When channels are changed, a break-before-make system eliminates channel overlap.
