Power Good (PGOOD) and Power Good Pullup (PGOOD_PU)

The LMZM33604 has a built-in power-good signal (PGOOD) that indicates whether the output voltage is within its regulation range. The PGOOD pin is an open-drain output that requires a pullup resistor to a nominal voltage source of 15 V or less. The maximum recommended PGOOD sink current is 5 mA. A typical pullup resistor value is between 10 kΩ and 100 kΩ.

Once the output voltage rises above 90% (typical) of the set voltage, the PGOOD pin rises to the pullup voltage level. The PGOOD pin is pulled low when the output voltage drops lower than 90% (typical) or rises higher than 110% (typ) of the nominal set voltage.

Internal to the device, a 100-kΩ pullup resistor is placed between the PGOOD pin and the PGOOD_PU pin. Applying a pullup voltage directly to the PGOOD_PU pin, eliminates the need for an external pullup resistor.
