7.6.2 I2C Serial Interface

MCF8329HS interfaces with an external MCU over an I2C serial interface. MCF8329HS is an I2C target to be interfaced with a controller. External MCU can use this interface to read/write from/to any non-reserved register in MCF8329HS.
