6.3.7 Thermal Shutdown

During normal operation, when the temperature of the TPS53015 device exceeds the threshold value (typically 150°C), the device shuts off. When the temperature falls below the threshold, the device starts again. During VIN start-up when the VREG5 output voltage is below the nominal value, the device maintains the thermal shutdown threshold lower than 150°C. During the period where VIN rises, the junction temperature (TJ) must be maintained at lower than 110°C.
