7.2.2.1 Switching Frequency

The switching frequency of the TPSM852892 is set by a resistor at the FSW pin. Use Equation 3 to calculate the resistance for the desired frequency. To reduce the switching power loss with such a high current application, a 1% standard resistor of 49.9kΩ is selected for 400kHz switching frequency for this application.
