Device Information

The DRV8762-Q1EVM integrates multiple devices on the board to provide additional protection features and to provide the required additional voltage levels to operate the evaluation module so that only the power supply for VBATT or VMOTOR is required. To safeguard against accidental reverse polarity connections, a diode controller that is compatible with LM74700-Q1 is included near the VBATT terminal. The GVDD supply input pin of the DRV8762-Q1 requires an external supply between 8V and 15V. The EVM provides this voltage through the LM5164 buck converter that outputs 12V. Additionally, to support the digital logic and interface circuitry, the EVM includes two linear regulators: a UA78M05C to generate 5V and a UA78M33C to generate 3.3V.
