1.4 Device Information

The PCB for this EVM is designed to accommodate I2C version of IC TPS62A204Q.

  • Default output voltage of IC on board is 0.75V. Other voltages can be set using I2C interface.
  • Additional input and output capacitors can be added on C4, C5, C8 or C9.
  • On the EVM, desired output voltage, mode, soft start time, spread spectrum and switching frequency can be adjusted by communicating with device through I2C interface.
  • There are 16 compensating settings available for this device TPS62A2I4Q. Any of the available compensation can be selected though I2C interface.
