Connect the positive output of the power supply to J2 and the negative output to J5.
Connect the load to J1 for the positive connection and J6 for the negative connection.
Set the power supply voltage to 12V and the electronic load to 0.1 A.
Enable the device via the
GUI
Make sure the electronic load voltage is in regulation with a nominal 5V output.
Slowly increase the load while monitoring the output voltage between J4-VOUT and J4-GND. The
output voltage must remain in regulation with a nominal 5V output as the load is
increased up to 3A.
Slowly sweep the input voltage from 12V to 36V. The output voltage must remain in regulation
with a nominal 5V output.
Set the output voltage to 32V
via I2C and GUI
Decrease the load to 1.8A.
Slowly sweep the input voltage from 36V to 12V. Make sure the output voltage remains in
regulation with a nominal 32V output.
Decrease the input voltage down to 0V to shut down the buck-boost converter, and then turn off
the load.
