MAC Interface Selection

DP83TC110X-EVM-MC "A" variants are configured to RGMII MAC interface. "B" variants are configured to SGMII MAC interface.

A resistor option is available to configure "A" variants to SGMII mode:

  1. Depopulate R121, R122, R123, R124, R54, R57, R58, R59.
  2. Install 0Ω resistors (0402) on R73, R74, R75, R76, R38, R39, R55, R62.
  3. Depopulate R84, R85.
  4. Install a 10kΩ resistor (0603) on R25 and a 2.49kΩ resistor (0603) on R35.
The inverse of above procedure can be performed to configure "B" variants to RGMII mode.
