Test Setup and Procedures

This EVM user's guide describes test procedure for the LM7311, LM7320, and LM7330 eFuse. Verify that the evaluation board has the default jumper settings as Table 3-1 shows.

Adhere to the following instructions before starting any test and repeat again before moving to the next test:

  1. Set the power supply output (VIN) to zero volts.
  2. Turn off the power supply.
  3. Adjust the jumper positions on the EVM to the default configuration as shown in Table 3-1.
  4. Connect an electronic load in CR mode with resistance configured to 24Ω at the output of eFuse. The positive terminal of electronic load connects to J2-1 and the negative terminal to J2-2
  5. Turn the power supply on and set the power supply output (VIN) to 12V and 20A. Verify that the power supply output is disabled and turn on the electronic load
