Power Up Into Short

Follow the instructions to perform the power-up into short test:

  1. Confirm that the experiment is setup initially as per the instructions in Section 3.1.
  2. Disconnect the electronic load at the output of eFuse.
  3. Set the input supply voltage VIN to 12V and current limit to 30A. Keep the power supply OFF.
  4. Connect the negative terminal of power supply to J3-1 and positive terminal of power supply to J3-2
  5. Short the output of the EVM to ground. For example, short VOUT1 (connector J2-1) to PGND (connector J2-2) through a cable.
  6. Turn ON the power supply.
