IMON Pin Test

Use the following instructions to perform the input hot-plug test on the LM7320 eFuse:

  1. Confirm that the experiment is setup initially as per the instructions in Section 3.1.
  2. Configure the jumper J5 position to the desired start-up slew rate as detailed in Table 2-3.
  3. Connect the negative terminal of the power supply to connector J3-1.
  4. Set the input supply voltage VIN to 12V and current limit to 10A.
  5. Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to connector J3-2. Enable the power supply.
  6. Disconnect the electronic load at the output.
  7. Throughout the test, use an oscilloscope to observe the waveforms at IMON(TP10), VIN(TP2), VOUT(TP1) and input current.
