10.2.2.1.4 Bypass Capacitors

Bypass capacitors are not required for use with the TPS7H130x; however, given the hard switching nature of the charge pump voltage inverter section, 100nF or smaller bypass capacitors at CPOUT, and VOUT offers high frequency noise reduction. Smaller ceramic capacitors across CFLY (connected to C+ and C-) can perform as bypass capacitors as a method to further reduce high frequency noise in the charge pump, polarized capacitors are not permitted for use.
