Basic Connections

Figure 8-2 shows the typical connections for the REF53-Q1. TI recommends a supply bypass capacitor (CIN) >0.1μF. An output capacitor (CREF) from 1μF to 50μF must connect from REF_F to GND. Connect the REF_S terminal to the VREF connection close to the load. Confirm the REF_S trace is not close to external noise sources and has low resistance. The equivalent series resistance (ESR) value of CREF must be from 10mΩ to 400mΩ to provide output stability.
