3.6 Evaluating Brushed-DC with MSP Motor Control SDK

To spin a Brushed-DC motor using MSPM0, follow these three simple steps:

  1. Order a supported LaunchPad and DRV8xxx EVM. Connect the hardware and motor to the Hardware User's Guide for the specified EVM.
  2. Launch the specified GUI from the TI Gallery. Enable the driver, spin the motor, and evaluate device features using the MSPM0 MCU.
  3. Evaluate the firmware in Code Composer Studio or on the CCS Cloud IDE.
