The SK-AM64B evaluation module (EVM) is a development platform designed to showcase the capabilities of the Sitara AM64x processors which comprises of a Dual-Core 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A53 microprocessor, 2x Dual core Arm Cortex-R5F MCUs and an Arm Cortex-M4F MCU.
The EVM integrates the core AM64x SoC with essential supporting circuitry, including MT53E1G16D1FW-046 WT LPDDR4 memory for high-performance operation, EVM is powered through a USB Type-C Connector and TPS6522053RHBR power management ICs for stable voltage regulation, DP83867IRRGZ Ethernet PHY transceivers for ethernet interface. TI-MCU headers , 40-pin Rasberry Pi™ HAT headers, PRU-ICSSG real-time I/O's are provided for Expasion and Prototyping. Standard interfaces such as Type A USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet are provided for peripheral expansion and system connectivity. This integrated design enables developers to immediately begin prototyping applications for industrial automation, networking, and other embedded use cases.
The embedded emulation logic allows for emulation and debugging using standard development tools such as the Code Composer Studio integrated development environment (IDE) (CCSTUDIO).
