Reset and Power-Up

The ADC810-Q1 resets on power-up and sets all the bits in all registers to the respective default values. The ADC810-Q1 has an internal watchdog timer that will fire if the device gets halted for more than 500ms. The watchdog reset will be reflected in the Device Status register (0xEF) and it resets the registers to the respective default values.

The ADC810-Q1 respond to the I2C general-call reset command. When the ADC810-Q1 receive a general-call reset command (06h), an internal reset is performed as if the device is powered-up.
