Abstract

In the era of new energy vehicles, after a car collision, the doors may fail to unlock, delaying the critical rescue time. The Crash Power Module (CPM) is a key redundancy system specifically designed for vehicles, with the core function serving as an emergency power unit in the event of a collision or main car battery failure, building the last line of defense for vehicle safety.

This article mainly focuses on the systematic study of the Crash Power Module system, introducing the main functions of the CPM and providing power management solutions for different architectures, offering a reference for customers in the engineering development and solution selection of CPM.
