The DRV81646-Q1 is a 4.5V to 65V, four-channel low-side driver with 140mΩ RDS(ON) per switch. An integrated freewheeling diode on each channel connects to the VCLAMP pin, enabling current recirculation or fast inductive load turn-off via an external TVS diode.

Control is available via hardware GPIO or 4-wire SPI. Each channel includes independent overtemperature protection. A single resistor on the ILIM pin globally sets the analog current limit threshold across all channels; an optional cut-off delay (COD) limits overcurrent event duration. Output slew rate is also set globally via the RSLEW/CNTL pin. An INRUSH mode temporarily raises the current limit threshold for capacitive load startup.

An nFAULT output pin indicates fault conditions. In SPI mode, per-channel fault status registers allow rapid fault identification and response.
