Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create alternating current (AC) drive control modules for precise, smooth and efficient control of AC motors. Real-time control, powerful processing, precise analog signal chain and robust transceivers help run fast-control algorithms and field communication protocols.

Design requirements

AC drive control modules often require:

  • Sensor and sensorless control algorithms for smooth torque and speed control.
  • Low-latency, low-bit-error, EMC-immune interfaces for reliable communication.
  • Precise analog and fast digital I/O to interface control/monitoring equipment.
