The DRV8428P evaluation module (EVM) allows easy evaluation of the DRV8428P device.

The DRV8428P devices are integrated motor-driver solutions for bipolar stepper motors or brushed DC motors. The device integrates two N-channel power MOSFET H-bridges, integrated current sense and regulation circuitry. The DRV8428P devices can be powered with a supply voltage from 4.5 to 33 V. A simple PWM control interface allows for an external controller to manage the outputs. The decay mode can be selected as a mixed decay, smart tune Ripple Control, or smart tune Dynamic Decay current regulation scheme.

For more information on this evaluation module please refer to the DRV8428PEVM User's Guide.

  • 4.5-V to 33-V operating voltage range
  • Up to 1-A peak current
  • A simple PWM input interface
  • Integrated current sense
  • Smart tune technology
