Overview

The LM25139-Q1EVM-20A evaluation module (EVM) is a synchronous buck DC/DC regulator that employs synchronous rectification to achieve high conversion efficiency in a small footprint. The EVM operates over a wide input voltage range of 5.5V to 36V, providing a regulated output of 5V. This EVM is designed to handle up to 20A of output current provided it has proper thermal mitigation.

  • Wide input voltage operating range of 5.5V to 36V
  • 1% accurate fixed 3.3V, 5V, or adjustable output down to 0.8V
  • Switching frequency of 440kHz externally synchronizable up or down by 20%
  • Full-load efficiency of 94% at VIN = 12V
  • 12.8µA controller standby current at VIN = 12V
  • Peak current-mode control architecture provides fast line and load transient response
    • Integrated slope compensation adaptive with switching frequency
    • Forced PWM (FPWM) or Pulsed-Frequency Modulation (PFM) operation
    • External loop compensation
