This 200-W SEPIC converter reference design supplies a non-isolated adjustable 5-V to 200-V output voltage with a maximum output current of 4 A. Output voltage is set using a 0% to 100% duty-cycle, pulse-width-modulation (PWM) input.

  • Provides 3x to 5x higher output power than traditional SEPICs
  • Achieves a peak efficiency of greater than 93% (at 100-V output, 200 W)
  • Controls the output voltage with PWM input from processor
  • Enables low-input-ripple voltage and low EMI compared to flyback converters
