8.1 Object File Format Specifications

The object files created by the Code Generation Tools conform to the ELF (Executable and Linking Format) binary format, which is used by the Embedded Application Binary Interface (EABI).

The C7000 has a 48-bit address space for both code and data. Accordingly, object files use the ELF64 format.
