7.4.2.1 Forced PWM (FPWM) Mode

In FPWM mode, the inductor current conducts continuously at light or no load conditions, allowing a continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation. The benefits of FPWM mode are a fast light load to heavy load transient response and constant switching frequency at light or no load conditions. The maximum reverse current is limited to 145mV/RDS(ON) in FPWM mode.
