7.11 General-Purpose Memory Controller (GPMC)

The GPMC is the unified memory controller that interfaces external memory devices such as:

  • Asynchronous SRAM-like memories and ASIC devices
  • Asynchronous page mode and synchronous burst NOR flash
  • NAND flash
