2 Quick Start

This chapter offers a quick start guide to power-up the EVM, run the GUI control software, and create a simple three pattern sequence.

Note:

Be sure to install DLP LightCrafter GUI software version 5.0 and firmware 6.0 or newer. Operating the DLP LightCrafter Single DLPC900 EVM (DLPLCRC900EVM) with prior revisions of the GUI can render the EVM inoperable.

For DLP5500 DMD operation (DLPLCR55EVM) GUI version 5.2.x and firmware version 6.2.0 or newer is required.

Note: If the text in the GUI does not display correctly, then see Section 3.2.
