Power Supply Recommendations

The VCC pin is the power supply pin of this device to power the gate drive circuitry. The pin must be supplied with ≥6.5V or the highest output voltage for full functionality. While a bypass capacitor on this pin is recommended for sensitive power supplies, it is not required for proper operation of the device. The VCC pin is designed to supply full drive potential with any GPIOv ≥1.5V. Though 6.5V minimum is recommended for VCC, the part still functions with a reduced VCC resulting in higher Rdson.
