Equipment Needed for Programming

To program a TPLD device with the TPLD1202-RWS-EVM, a TPLD-PROGRAM kit and a computer running InterConnect Studio are needed. The TPLD-PROGRAM kit includes everything required to interface a computer to the TPLD1202-RWS-EVM. InterConnect Studio can be downloaded from TI.com by following the instructions in Section 3.1.2.

Note: When the TPLD-PROGRAM is powered and connected the TPLD1202-RWB-EVM, LED1 and LED2 turns on if a shunt is placed on the associated jumpers. This is normal and is caused by I2C pull-ups installed on those lines on the TPLD-PROGRAM.
