2.2.3.2.4 Liquid Detection Retries [31:28]

The liquid detection retries field specifies the number of confirmation cycles required before enter liquid detection state. The retry count controls how many additional sampling cycles must confirm the presence of liquid. Figure 3-6 shows that once the high threshold is exceeded, the device performs the configured number of retries before committing to the state change. This provides a configurable debounce mechanism that is specific to the users hardware characteristics and environmental conditions.
