The DRV2625 device has multiple power states to optimize power consumption. In the event of a critical condition, the DRV2625 device goes immediately into the standby state. Figure 7-7 shows the transitions into and out of each state.
For specific corner cases, the DRV2625 can get stuck in the pseudo-standby state and not fully return to the low-power standby state. Reference the note in Automatic Go-To-Stand-by (Low Power). To exit this pseudo-standby state, a simple I2C transaction can be used. The logic for clearing the pseudo-standby state follows the I2C Transaction Done path in Figure 7-7.
