Full Protection and Diagnostics

Current Sensing is active when DIAG_EN enabled. When DIAG_EN is low, current sense is disabled. The SNS output is in high-impedance mode.

Overvoltage

(Applicable only for TPS1HTC30)

HH →LLVSNSFHChannel turns off if VS > VS,OVPR, turns back on if VS < VS,OVPRF
STG, Relative Thermal Shutdown, Absolute Thermal ShutdownHH→LLVSNSFHShuts down when devices hits relative or absolute thermal shutdownAuto retries when THYS is met and time has been longer than tRETRY amount of time
Open loadHHHILoad / KSNS = approximately 0Normal behavior, user can judge if it is an open load or not
LHLVSNSFHInternal pullup resistor is active. If VS – VOUT < VOL then fault activeClears when fault goes away
Reverse PolarityxxxxChannel turns on to lower power dissipation. Current into ground pin is limited by external ground network
